About the author

I have created a coming-of-age series set in the 1990s. It follows a biracial female protagonist in her twenties as she navigates grief, betrayal, identity and love. I draw on my ethnic and cultural backgrounds (Kenyan, Czech, British, and American) to bring the protagonist’s struggles to life.

Writing this story inspired me to learn to play the guitar, inspired by the protagonist in the series.

This is my debut novel and the first book of the series.
