G Rockk is a writer/director, with a BA (Hons) in Scriptwriting for Film and TV, from the Bournemouth Media School.
G is working on more iphone short film projects. Watch out for `Death´s Day Off´ (in post).
G´s punk music adaptation `Romeo and Julian´ was selected for RACCONTI, a script development programme by IDM South Tyrol, Italy, and pitched at IDM´s international Film Conference INCONTRI. After much excited feedback on its inventiveness and unique voice, G has been rewriting the script into a novel. Current status of completion: Volume on LOUD to LOUDEST. Stay tuned.
Honorable mention goes to G´s first film, `the problem with liking the person you have sex with´. The comedy drama short with explicit female gaze was shown as part of Student Day at the Purbeck Film Festival 2007.
G has an MA in American Literature and Psychology; is fan of the 10th Doctor and the heartfelt story-telling in those fiercely progressive, diverse seasons; is addicted to caffeine and EQUALITY.
